We’re organising a party! Since it appears that one cannot make music just anywhere, finding somewhere that was musician-friendly was one of the criteria we had when we were looking for our venue. After all, making music is what it is all about! We found what we were looking for at the delightful group accommodation in Ter Apel, in the Netherlands.

At Ter Apel, our didgeridoo and percussion players as well as you, your partners, children and friends are all welcome. Enjoying this social and happy event together is our motto. Listen, laugh, learn, play, eat, drink, sleep, jam, meet one another, work and party together…and the rest!

The great thing about this accommodation is that there are 43 beds available shared out among several bedrooms. If you choose this option, you only have to bring your musical instrument (s), clothes and bedding with you.

About the Workshops:

Workshops Didgeridoo
	Ansgar Manuel Stein, a very multi-talented, well-known player from Germany who weaves many different styles into his fascinating music. He has played Didgeridoo for 15 years and performs with several small bands. He will perform on Saturday evening, and will be giving workshops for experienced and very experienced players on: Saturday between 2.00pm & 5.00pm Sunday between 9.30am & 12.30pm Cost of the workshop is 35.00euro per person.
	Lies Beijerinck, the ”didge mother of Holland“ has played the instrument for 15 years and is known for her technical and melodic style. She currently travels around the world performing and giving workshops. Lies will be giving workshops for players of every level (dependent on what is required) on: Saturday between 09.30am & 12.30pm Sunday between 09.30am & 12.30pm Cost of the workshop is 35.00 euro per person.
	Michiel Teijgeler is known to many people as a musician. He has played with various world music ensembles and from rock bands to techno-DJ’s. As a teacher he is known for humorous and composition-rich lessons he gives. Michiel will be giving workshops for experienced and very experienced players on: Saturday between 09.30am & 12.30pm Sunday between 2pm & 5pm Cost of the workshop is 35.00 euro per person.
Workshops African Percussion
	Koko Lawson is a patient percussion teacher of a very high level, and has lots of experience in providing workshops for beginners to experienced players. His workshop on Djembe includes his doun doun, kenkeni and sanbang and is given on: Saturday between 2pm & 5pm Sunday between 2pm & 5pm Cost of the workshops is 40 euros per person. If you don't have your own djembé, you can hire one of Koko’s € 5,00 for the whole weekend..
Workshops QiGONG (Medtation in motion)
	Qigong is the collective name for methods using energy or Chi. Yvonne Laan has had different trainings in chi neng (a form of qigong) and this workshop enables you to try this style of meditative movement and working with energy. A brief workshop for you to focus on yourself, on: Saturday between 10am & 12.00 Sunday between 10am & 12.00 Cost of the workshop is 15.00euro per person.
